Leadership and Teamworking -
In an interactive seminar, participants will explore their understanding of leadership building on their own experiences and styles. The evidence linking leadership with clinicial outcomes will be presented. The session will include an overview of the challenges facing leaders globally in the so-called VUCA world (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous).
In a second interactive session, participants will explore effective team-working. Using the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the benefits and challenges of diversity will be discussed with reference to participants’ own ‘types’.
The day will help participants:
· understand good leadership styles and attributes
· explore their impact on others and vice versa
· explore what makes a good team and why it is important.
