A note from our President…
We currently find ourselves in an unprecedented situation with the world battling an outbreak of COVID-19. The World Health Organization declared a global pandemic on March 11 and at the point of writing this many people have sadly been affected worldwide.
As a profession, we are in a very difficult predicament as we have a responsibility to protect our patients and our staff whilst also looking after our own health and safety together with that of our families. It is also clear that changing of behaviour is essential for reducing the risks associated with this rapidly unfolding health crisis.

This is a challenging time for all, however it highlights the wonderful work carried out by those employed in the health care sector and the vitally important role they play in society.
