Treatment of stage IV periodontitis: going beyond the pocket
Following on from last year’s Dentistry Show talk on the treatment of periodontitis, Dr Devan Raindi will be exploring the latest S3 Level Guideline on the rehabilitation of periodontitis patients following treatment, ranging from orthodontic intervention through to implants, as well how the Guideline relates to the impact of periodontitis on the systemic health of patients.

The intertwining journey of diabetes and periodontal health
Diabetes and periodontal disease are two highly prevalent chronic diseases that have a biological link. A two-way relationship exists between the two diseases with each negatively impacting the other. Treatment of periodontitis results in improvements in glycaemic control. In this presentation, I will provide an update on the links, and offer guidance for the dental team in managing patients with diabetes.
