Specialist Periodontist / DWSI, York, North Yorkshire

We are seeking a Specialist Periodontist / Dentist with special interest in periodontics to join our referral practice in York to cover maternity leave for our periodontist.

James Pegg Dentistry is a private dental practice that provides general, family and aesthetic dentistry. It is also a referral practice for periodontics, accepting colleague referrals and self-referrals from all over Yorkshire and the surrounding counties.

The position is part-time, for two days per month. The position is available immediately and is anticipated to last till December 2025 although may extend further if desired.

You will provide all aspects of specialist periodontic care and treatment, including examination, diagnosis and treatment of periodontal conditions, gingival surgery, gingival grafting, bone grafting and regeneration, implant placement, and treatment of peri-implantitis and peri-implant mucositis.

You will be working with a highly experienced team, in particular with a hygienist and nurse who have huge experience in treatment and management of periodontal conditions. You will have at your disposal new, high-quality surgical equipment, NSK Varios CombiPro treatment unit, Zeiss operating microscope etc.
