Get the more rapid and thorough vascularization.
Obtain the best results in soft tissue management and bone augmentation.
Decrease the rate of infection especially following molar extractions and during implant placement.
On the first day, Dr Choukroun will focus on the biology of platelet rich fibrin and wound healing. He will hold a discussion over its use in Socket preservation, Soft Tissue Management, Bone Augmentation procedures and Implant placement. Factors that antagonize PRF will be introduced as well as its solutions.
The literature and research has failed in explanation of peri-implantitis and bone loss in native and grafted bone, but the solution if finally here. Dr Choukroun will reveal his Physiological approach, prevention and treatment for peri-implantitis and marginal bone loss.
On the second day the focus will be on practice. It will be a hands-on day including phlebotomy and suture course as drawing blood from your patient is necessary. All attendees will do a venipuncture and blood drawing.
Using the blood centrifuge, preparing PRF membranes, plugs and liquid PRF, mixing PRF with GBR materials, and the presentation of new PRF protocols.
