Registering instructions will be sent out on Monday 20 April 2026, as you need to register with Zoom (a quick and simple process). After registering you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar on the evening.
Only the first 500 participants to log in on the evening will be able to participate in the live event.
However, booked participants will be able to view the webinar after the event on the BSP website. You will be notified when the recorded presentation is available for viewing.
1.5 hours CPD is offered to all delegates who have booked and viewed the webinar. Bookings must have been made through the BSP website. Non-members will need their booking reference number to obtain CPD. Evaluation form and CPD certificates will be available after the event on the website.

Discuss the steps to follow when assessing periodontal health at the beginning of the patients implant journey

Explain how the early decisions to mitigate risk make a difference
Recognise the value of a team-centred approach in standardising workflow for pre-implant patient care
Identify the importance of early intervention to minimise implant disease progression especially in patients with a history of periodontitis

Based in an implant referral centre, they work daily with complex peri-implant cases, bringing real-world expertise to their teaching. Together, they have devised and delivered hands-on courses across the UK and Ireland, and presented webinars for the British Society of Periodontology (BSP), Ikigai, and other leading educational platforms.
Both have authored multiple articles on implant care and are clinical educators for the Ikigai Oral Hygiene Community, where they share evidence-based, practical protocols with dental teams. Their engaging teaching style blends science, clinical skill, and a passion for raising standards in implant maintenance.
