Professor Nicola West Appointed to EFP Executive Committee

We are delighted to report that, at the recent General Assembly meeting of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) in Athens, Professor Nicola West was appointed as an Officer of the Executive Committee.

The British Society of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry warmly congratulates Nicola on this outstanding achievement. We have every confidence that she brings the experience, insight and drive required to excel in this role, alongside the vision and enthusiasm to help further enhance the impact and global reach of the EFP.

In addition to her longstanding service to the BSP, Nicola has made a significant contribution to the European Federation of Periodontology, serving as Secretary General from 2019 to 2025 and as Treasurer of EuroPerio 10 from 2018 to 2021.

Nicola is deeply committed to the values and ethos of the EFP and will no doubt play a key role in advancing its strategic objectives in the years ahead.
